hi.
yesterday i had a male guppy die. it had noobviouse signs except a kink in its spine. i thought of fish TB but chose to ignore it as no other fish had any symptoms n such.
today though, i woke up to another male guppy on the bottom of my tank, not quite dead yet with a bent spine. this fish was perfectly healthy yesterday and last night. ( infact its the guppy in my avator)

my questions are:
what can have caused this if it is fish TB? (i recently added 2 blue rams to my setup, they are fine but...)
what can i do about it? ( any treatment?)
if it could have been the rams, i need to go to the shop and let them know right?

any kinda help appreciated
cheers :good:

Apparently your fish can be infected with TB for months before showing any sypmtoms, and strong healthy fish can live a long life even though they're infected. Any fish introduced to your aquarium can have it and it can take months for it to become apparent, making quarantine useless. I have it in my aquarium too, have lost a couple of fish in the past week and have another 3/4 that are showing signs. As far as I've read there's not much you can do other than remove infected fish before they die, as it's spread mostly by fish eating dead fish. No fish in or out until you're sure you're completely free of it, which could take months.

If anyone else has any other ideas please let us know.
