I have a Gold Severum and i just wanted to give you a word of warning, altho its mentioned in their profile they are "Peaceful Giants" they can be quite aggressive too in my experience.
Mine lives with Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, Blue Acara, Salvini & Firemouth Cichlids. All in all a pretty aggressive set up, now he dont mess with the Green Terror or the Jacks but he will chase off the Blue Acara, Salvini & Firemouths when they get in his way, these fish are much more robust and larger than the Dwarf Gouramis you intend to house with a Gold Sev. Im not saying dont house them together they may be perfectly fine, but just keep an eye on them when introduced to each other.

I think probably my favorite is the weather/dojo loach, that's a great choice! But mine was torn up really badly by my cons before I moved him into my mom's tropical community tank. The cat digs that fish. But my yoyo loach gets along fine even with a convict. Their interaction with eachother is a lot of fun to watch since they're always chasing eachother and sneaking up on eachother. I'd definently suggest getting a few yoyos! Kuhlis are fine too, they're small but they're great at hiding. I have one living with my convict and the yoyo loach. I didn't even know he was alive for at least a year though because he's so good at hiding. Zebra loaches are a little small for the convicts, I wouldn't suggest them with larger cichlids.
