Fish Tank Dividers? Finally Something That Works!

Hi guys...

New to this site but been keeping and breeding fish for years... I was searching for weeks to find a suitable divider for my main tank as the wife wouldnt let me buy another! After using plastic mesh, or shall i say, TRY and use plastic mesh i gave up and recently found out that they are not actaully safe for use in the aquarium (Thanks for almost killing my fish other DIY forum)

Then I come across this site which sells dividers that are made to your tank size... Thought it was too good to be true so bit the bullet and bought one and I have to say im over the moon with the product!! ITs a lot more solid and rigid than the plastic mesh and they say its soley for use in the aquarium... Plus it came within 2 days and has a lifetime gaurentee!!

That's awesome! I know here you cant find dividers for anything bigger than a 55g. I had to actually build one for my 75g. I used egg crate and pvc pipe lol

i saw a crate used for isolating a blood parrot, it even tried to attack a pleco

Just checked the website mate and it says they send worldwide!

Iv tried everything lol from egg crate to plastic knitting mesh to fly screens! You name it iv done it hence why I was sooooooo excited to find these

I can't get it to load but its a good idea unless its see through I don't agree with see through dividers as fish are meant to be kept apart from each other for a reason. I won't go against your word though if its a good idea if that makes sense lol

lol that does make sense! But they have to be see through otherwise u cant have efficient waterflow etc

how strong are these dividers? Would they for example withstand a pounding from a big Oscar?

I use eggcrate, purely cos of it's strength, as breeding pairs can often turn on one another.

The question is do you think they could cater for a corner unit with bow front?
