I stumbled onto this fish tank coffee table awhile back on walmart.com. naturally i dont trust much that walmart sells. But it seems to be available from multiple other retailers. Anyways. Has anyone had experience with one of there? I cant find much info on it.

Here are my questions
how is the filter?
How do you clean it?
Feeding?
durability?
Elegance?
Etc.

If you have on, please post pictures!

I imagine you'd have to lift off the top to properly clean the substrate--wonder how bright the lighting could be seeing it has to travel past the substrate---and you would have to install a heater so that would affect appearance---wonder how you service the filter whereas it's in the base--and I wonder if you'd get condensation on the top----looks well constructed overall---

The heater, filters and all the life support equipment is biult into the legs. I came accross these and really wanted one but decided that it would be too much stress on the fish with putting my feet on it and the cats constantly trying to get into it. They are beautiful but if I were to get one it would only be for plants, i don't think fish would be too happy in them.

Hmm, i have seen these in various places and to be honest, have never entirely trusted them for keeping fish in. Probably just me.

But, stanleo has thought the same as me, might be good for a planted only tank, could look good.
