Last night I was watching TV with my family and the coolest vedio came up. it's about fish surgery and the out look of fish care in the U.S. It's about 6 min. long so every one must watch it and post what they think  . Just use the link below and I would suggest watching it in quicktime or realvedio on the low setting. Quicktime was the fastest for me and if u get an error using realvedio just click play and it should work. :D

That was interesting, but whats the fascination with carp? :p They seemed to think that having 27 fish was a lot, don't tell them I have more than 60

Thanks for sharing :D

I actually considered becoming an aquarian vet for a while. Then I decided that I love fish too much and would flip out every time I accidentally killed one in surgery, which would probably happen a lot since it is a fairly new field. It sure is interesting though, and thanks for the link!

Glass eye implantations?
Planting cords in fish' becks to keep them from floating upside down?
That clip makes me feel like "outsiders" would think we're freaks :alien:

Way cool, thanks so much for sharing!! I would totally pay to have surgery done on my oscar if he needed it, so I can understand where these people are coming from. He's like a dog to me  Not sure if I'd be willing to pay thousands for back surgery on him, though!

cool vid reminds me of a vet program that used to be on in the afternoon (this was years ago) it had an oranda that had a grows and they were using liquid oxygen (dry ice but in liquid form) and in a few days the growth was gone. But looking back it was in the tank and no more close to having to use a horse shoe to get it out.

But that thing with the cork is cool I used to think you could use a lil fish harness to keep it upright. I don't want to think what would happen if the cork got stuck in something :S

Great video. I knew that they did surgery on fish for quite a while but never saw videos that explained it. You should all watch the Rx for Fish video on there too. It goes a little more in depth. Good find though!
