Hi all my new 48L River Reef will be here tomorrow and i'm starting to think about stocking for when my cycle has finished.

need some suggestions for some small peaceful community fish that i can put in my tank i'm after some colorful fish that can be regularly found at most pet stores as most the LFS don't stock a large range of fish. (But might order some in if i ask)

Any Suggestions? and how many fish will i be able to get in that 48L cant remember the fish CM/Inch to Litre/Gallon Ratio that people use.

Thanks In Advance :)

As common as it is, what about a male betta?
Full of personality and color and you could do a nice school of dwarf cories and a nice shoal of tetras, and you've got yourself a pretty little tank, if not.
There's plenty of other choices, perhaps 3 honey gouramis, 1 male, 2 female?

already have a Betta in my 23L tank.

a like the look of the Honey Gouramis will have to see if my LFS Stock them :)

Maybe Endlers? I have three and they are really colourful and look great!

You can't go wrong with neon tetras either! Look good and more than likely stocked by all LFS.

Sparkling or honey gouramis, mosquito/chili rasboras, celestial pearl danios, dwarf emerald rasboras, ember tetras, or dwarf cories would all be good, colourful choices for a tank of that size :)
