G'day All from down under,

My Current fish stock in a 200 litre 4 ft tank is as follows ....

Cynotilapia afra (Cobue) 1M 2F (Afra Edwardi)
Pseudotropheus crabro 1M 2F (Crabros)
Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos 1M 2F (Mainganos)
Melanochromis interruptus 1 M (Melanochromis elastodema)

Was wondering whether or not I can add a few more.

I was looking at getting 2 females for the Interruptus, wasn't sure whether I could put some Labidochromis caeruleus (Electric Yellows) in with this lot say 1M 2 F just to get a better mixture of colours.

Any ideas?

Cheers in advance!!

Well you're looking at 15 fish max provided you have good filtration (at least 8x tank turnover). You do know that it raises the possibility of hybridization by stocking fish with the same genus? Just making sure you're aware of it. :)

Sure you could add those. You're on the bare minimum for female mates though. I'd add another female crabro if I was you. I'd say the afra are fine. I don't know much about those 2 particular melanochromis species and how aggressive they are as adults(don't know if your fish are juvies or adults). If your fish are adults, it's wise to add adult fish otherwise you may loose the juvies to rough housing.

:D
