my guppy's seem to have a problem they seem to just rest at the botom of my tank or at the top i'm worried

Can you give us more information? How long have you had the tank set ups, what size, how many guppies, etc. It isn't normal for them to sit on the bottom. Let's see if we can figure it out.

my tank is 36 inch long it has 6 guppys and i have had the tank for a year now

you may have to see if the PH is right go to a shop and get it testid and tell them mthe proplem and they will give you things for it. i had a it like that and all it was was the Ammonia i got a treatment called AmQuel + it does nitrate, nitrite, ammonia,chioramines and chlorine it worked well
