Hi, i have a 30 gallon tanks, and i have
2 honey dwaf gourami
2 pearl gourami
2 pleco
1 cory cat
1 sparking gourami
1 chinese hillstream loach
1 Molly

and i recently added the pearl and the molly, there isnt any problems with the pearl (hidding but i i think they ll get use to it). The fish giving me the problem is the molly, it keeps following(chasing) one of my red honey gourami, and it doesnt stop following. Did i somehow got an aggressive molly, or what? i am not familiar with mollies so i would like some help. Thank you.

I'm definitely no expert on mollies but I do know they prefer brackish water so it wont really be at home with the other inhabitants.

is the mollie a male? if it is then this is the problem, hes trying to basically mate with what ever comes close enough, ive had quite a few grumpy mollies males and females, depends on the fish really, it could just be settling in and will pick on some other fish to firm its authority, this should settle down.

another point is, Gouramis can be a little bit on the fin nipping side and from experience ive had mollies that have been attacked by other fish and turn around and chase them away and tend not to forgive and forget

yea its a male, i tried using a mirror and he went berzerk(not sure thats a word to describe it lol) and after a while he settled down, hopefully things would be better after a few days
