I saw an article about this treatment being offered in Japan, that was around 2-3 years ago so this isn't a new therapy.

I wouldn't say poor fish for slave labour, but would worry about the wellbeing of the fish on that BBC article since they receive a near 100% water change after every treatment. The article I read a few years ago showed hot springs in Japan with 100s of Garra Rufa living in them.

Oh i just thought.. my small tank is actually 2 foot
