I bunged this in the beginners section because I didn't want to fill chit chat with loads of stocking questions :dunno:.

Right, my current (main) tank situation is...
20g-
8 zebra/leopard danios
2 C. Leucomelas (or a similar species)
4 (I think 4...) striped khulis
1 black khuli
1 albino glowlight tetra
Filtration is a Fluval 2+ and an Elite Mini (with lots of media and full flow rate). I know about the schooling issues, they were the only ones left, but I'm not sure I can get the same/v. similar species of cory again. Same with the black khuli, but I find none of the khulis school anyway. The tetra, I can't get the same species, almost every shop has NTD infested tetras, these were the two survivors and I seperated them because, as expected, one was aggressive to the other.

15g-
2 or 3 (I have no idea, they hide in the rock all the time) striped khulis
3 swordtails
1 albino glowlight
Filtered by a Fluval 2 (with extra media bunged in).

So, whats best to do? Obviously I'd like more fish. I was thinking of attempting to move the khulis in the 15g to the 20g so they're more visible and they have more friends. But, I dunno, what do you think, and do I have stocking room left?

I know it hasn't been up long, but I'm going to bump this because I wantto go to a few lfs's asap.... :/

I'm a little confused, do you allready have the 15g up and running?

Yes. Both tanks are set up, I've listed their current occupants and filtartion. But I went to the lfs anyway, didn't buy anything fishwise for those tanks, but I did get an extra filter I might put on there. Or I can use it to set up another tank if I want.

I'll add an update, and one more question (for now). I managed to move the khulis in the 15g to the 20g, they are much more active and happier in there now. So I've now got (in the 20)

8 zebra/leopard danios
2 C. Leucomelas (or a similar species)
7 striped khulis
1 black khuli
2 albino glowlight tetras

I'm thinking I'm eventually going to need to move the swordtails (4''+, not brilliant in the 15 which is only 18Lx12Wx15H). I'm also adding an extra filter to the 20g when I get a plug put on it, that does about 53gph and has a nice big sponge in. So I'd have a Fluval 2+, an Elite Mini and the other one. Reckon I'd be ok? And please, don't tell me anything to do with the inch per gallon, all but a few are exempt from that.

Cooo-eeee! Its not a difficult question, all I need is a straight yay or nay. Although I don't see much of a problem, with the extra filters I've got one rated for twenty gallons and two rated for about ten, so I should be fine.

Sounds like you have your mind made up, but I'll offer 2 opinions:

1. You're thinking about adding more fish to a 20g tank that already has 20 fish in it. Extra filtration or not, this doesn't strike me as the best idea.

2. 2 corys are sad cories. 2 tetras are sad tetras. That's a bigger problem than the swordtail one, IMO.

Yup, I'm working on finding the same/very very similar species, otherwise I'll get peppered. Theres also stocking room in the 15, although I'd have to rearrange rockwork for more floorspace.

2 tetras are sad tetras. That's a bigger problem than the swordtail one, IMO.

But they'd be a heck of a lot sadder with NTD.... After loosing all but these two tetras (about 14 of two different sorts) I'm not really sure it would be the best idea. Plus only one shop sells this type, they'd be a lot smaller (bullying) and these two already have a relatively established heirachy in the danio group. They've been on their own for 4 or so months, too.
