Fish Out Of Water

so i got my daughter some endlers for the free pfk nano today.plopped them in after a few oohs and a few ahhs from her we went out for about an hour.on our return there is one missing....strange the cube has a lid.but it does have a tiny gap all the way round only half inch if that.my little lady finds the endler on the floor.he's only managed to jump through that tiny little gap.she pleaded with me to put him back in but i was sure he was dead,but to keep her tears away i put him back in.surely after an hour on the floor he wont be alive?
