Twice a day may possible be too much.
What fish do you have and how many ?
How large is your tank ?
What do you feed ?
How long have you had the tank set up ?
What is the temperature of your water ?

Ps: I see you are still validating. So :hi: to TFF
you will need to check your email (and possibly junk mail folder) and click on the validating link in an email that you would have received from TFF. That will enable you to become a full member and post in all sections of the site.

Thanks that already helps a lot. But I think your tank sounds far too small for the number of fish you have. However it would help a great deal if you could tell us how many gallons or litres it takes as well.

If your tank is too small, with that number of fish you are likely to have high nitrates and even the slightest bit of overfeeding will add to that. Build up toxicity and become a danger for your fish. Another sign of feeling unwell would be loss of appetite.

How often do you do a water change and how much do you change at a time ?

If you could give us some more information we can help you more :good:
