Fish In Or Out Cycle?

which do you prefer to-do fish in cycle's or no fish in and why ?

Most people go fishless, as it's kinder for the fish, quicker and much less work. Unless you already have fish because you were given bad advice, I really see no reason why anyone would choose to do a fish in cycle.

I cant say i really have a preference, i did fish in cycle on my main tank a year ago and recently did a fishless cycle on a fry tank filter.

Thing is, once you have a mature filter, you can nick media from it to near instantly cycle another one so its not like you are forever cycling fish tanks.

If i wiped out all my tanks and had to start from scratch, i would probably do fishless.

If i was totally new to fish keeping but understood how the cycle works, i think i might do a fish in cycle, purely because i know i would be really keen to get some fish in the tank as soon as possible and because im a selfish human being and my needs are far more important than the fish.

i done a fish in cycle... cos i wanted something to look at for 4 weeks as the tanks in my room empty tank looks a little boring at times...
