I personally wouldnt of housed any mollies at all in a 5g tank but if you fancy a change 1 male betta would be a nice addition :), other than that no more mollies would be advised.

understood. would u advise me to get a 20 gallon tank put the mollys in there and use the 5 gallon tank as a fry house? or is it too small?

o and one last question. should i have live or fake plants 4 them to nibble on?

As far as im aware molllies dont really touch plants well not to that extream anyways, live plants or fake is upto you.... completely a personal choice but live plants in a standard tank tend to die off without proper care (ie some sort of fertilisation), so basically it's upto you ;)

Mollies love to nibble on real plants and algae. If you watch them for even a short time you will see them constantly biting at the surface of almost anything in the tank. They are not destructive plant eaters but will sometimes take small amounts from tender plants like new growth on a vallisneria. It is the reason that my mollies get some spirulina flake mixed in with their basic diet. They have improved health if they get some plant matter in their diet. Another option is to use one of the sinking wafers of algae that are made for feeding plecs and similar fish. Mollies will take over an algae wafer when they discover it and they are fast to discover it.
