Fish Importer Killed In Floods?

Some of you may have seen a man was killed when he got his foot caught in a drain yesterday. Reading the sun this morning it was a man called Mike Barnett and was apparently a tropical fish importer for many years.

read it in the papers today and thought i should check.

I know someone on another board who apparently lives near where this guy died. I had no idea he was a fish importer though. I thought it was surprising someone could drown like that. From what I heard, there were people there trying to free his foot but no one had any way of getting him air when the water got too high.

well again, i read this in the paper so im not sure how true it is but he apparently died from hyperthermia jus before they freed him and he was breathing through an o2 tube.

I've since heard that too. News details are always sketchy when it first gets reported.
