Hi there! This week i'll be cycling my tank so i thought to myself it's time to get together a list of the fish that i want :) I was wondering whether u guys could tell me whether these will be compatible :)

Delta guppy
Platy-mickey mouse perhaps:p
gourami-honey i think
Bandit cory
Endler's Livebearer
Tiger swordtail
African Dwarf frog-could i get away with one?
Common plec

I obviously will have it refined a bit because i doubt i'll find them all! Please tell me what you think ppl and any suggestions are welcome :shout:

They all sound good (not together, at least not all of them together) but the plec, they grow very large and need atleast 90g.

Livebearers 3 females to one male.
Corys should be kept in no less than a 3 group.
Plecs for your tank are oto and a pit bull plec.
But the oto plec is not hardy at all very delicate water conditions.
I would jsut go with the corys.

I personally think that you can get just one african dwarf frog. I have two, but they don't even stay at the same side of the tank. Is there something you've read that states you should have at least two?

Delta guppy - fine
Platy-mickey mouse perhaps:p - fine
gourami-honey i think - too big for a 10g
Bandit cory - fine
Endler's Livebearer - fine
Tiger swordtail - too big for 10g
African Dwarf frog-could i get away with one? - fine but watch out to make sure they get enough food, you may need to target feed
Common plec - nope, waaaay to big. otto's are your only choice really for plec's in that size tank

obviously though you don't have room for groups of all of the above, you have room for around 10" of fish in total

hey guys thanks for the input you're really helpful :) This is what i'm looking at just now then ^_^

Guppy
Platy
Bandit Cory
Endler Liverbearer
African Dwarf Frog - lol i assumed they required some space, awesome if i can have it :)

I doubt i could put a beta in there lol, i used to have a female betta in a tank with guppys and there didn't seem to be a problem. is it only the male variety that are V aggresive?

Cheers
disco

females are better for community tanks, they're less aggressive to other fish. however still aggressive amongst themselves but not as badly as the males. we've a female in a community tank and she's fine.
