Fish Identification

The pet store guy said it was some kind of Goby.. Not sure what kind. And i believe the one may be pregnant as it is fatter and has a yellow spot on its stomach

Okay never mind. After a quick search i found that it is a peacock goby. However i do not believe i have a male. Will the egg still hatch without the male?

They will lay eggs only with a male to fertilize them. There are no males in your pics.

Definitely female peacock gudgeons. Great fish. I've got nine of them. They are fairly easy to care for.

Just would like to point out that it is best not to buy fish without researching them first.

Agree, whole-heartedly.  Here is some info on this fish, they have some specific requirements as it mentions.
