i am just wondering about fish, when they are injured  for example fins. The fins grow back.

so i was wondering is there other parts of any type of fish that grow back as i have a question if a catfish lost its whiskers will they grow back as i have a Zamora wood cat it 2 front whiskers have been ripped of in someway. will they grow back.? what could cause whisker damage . i.e. i have tiger barbs in the tank with the catfish

Yes, they will grow back as long as there wasn't extensive damage to the beginning of the "whisker". ;)

I was wondering about that too, I have an angel that had almost everything torn off it and while the bottom fin healed well the "feelers" haven't grown back (one is at a angle but stumped) and the top fin didn't grow back normally

Depending on the extent of the damage will determine how well they grow back, but usually there is not problem. Of course it's a case by case bases. I hope you see some improvements!

Thanks . i also read if the fish is eating and acting normal there is nothing to worry about. as for catfish they have many whiskers for a reasons then. also my zamora catfish is eating so i guess it will be fine.

As long as they are eating and behaving normally, then all seems well, even if full regrowth never happens! Good luck!
