Fish Getting Big

Hi I've done well with my fish and they are getting bigger and I am so naive when do we start giving bigger and more food.
At sea life centre they were feeding bits of fish.
Recently one barb died and they ate it. left with bones.
Please help as you have in the past.




Tank is Jewel Rio

I have 5 Clown Loaches
4 Silver sharks
6 Green Barbs
1 Golden Gouramis
1 don't know
1 Plec

I would vary their diet by giving once weekly treats of chopped mussel meat and pieces of cooked prawns.

Can I feel even more stupid for the sake of getting this right. Can I buy frozen prawns and cook those let cool then feed them. Mussels? I wouldn't want to sell them.

You are going to be kind and tell me they are available at most aquarium shops. HMmmmmmm. I did not say I was stupid just best get this right.

Also a handful be okay. I have big hands too lol

You can buy frozen pre cooked mussels and prawns from most super markets or get them at the fishmongers, or you can get frozen pre chopped mussel from the lfs in a blister pack but it works out a lot more exspensive. Any sea food that we eat can also be used for fish, experiment and see what they like.

Just feed them what they can eat in about 5 minutes, add a pinch at a time and when they stop eating or 5 minutes has lapsed stop.
