Rules:

1: The person who starts the game (the games master) thinks of a fish and posts a small clue as to the type of fish it is. After 3 guesses he/she should post a new clue.

2: No one may ask 2 questions in a row. After a question has been asked you must wait until someone else has asked a question before you may ask a new question.

3: You may make a guess after a question but you cannot make 2 guesses in a row either. After a guess you must wait until someone else has asked a question before asking another question or guessing again

4: Questions must only be answered YES or NO

5: All fish should be posted in common and/or scientific name if the fish has too many common names.

6: The person who correctly guesses the fish is the games master for the next round and should start in a new thread with a new game number and a copy of the rules.

Small = under 4 inches
Medium = under 12 inches
Large = over 12 inches

First clue: He is related to a triggerfish
:sly:

(Know nothign of marine fish, grasping here after a little research :*) )
Is it a member of the Ostraciidae family?

This is the Freshwater section though :/ the majority of us know little about SW - if it's a SW fish.

Actually, I only think its fair if you start over with a new animal in mind, with FW. The object in the game isn't to stress people, and make them to a huge research program.
Its really just to learn more about FW, if you want to do a SW one, start it in the SW section.
But I'll give it a try.
Is it commenly known, and well sold through out the hobby?

I didnt think it was. Geez, if you guys are that mad at me, then maybe i should just surrender this position to someone else. Talk about ruining all the fun of the fish game.

It actually is fairly well known, but it has never been sold.

Clue 3: He can get ten feet long, and has a curious frill-like tail.

Is it a whale shark?

Missed the last clue about getting 10' long. Obviously not a whale shark.

No, its not a shark. It has a small mouth, remember :)

If anyone else is very displeased about it being a SW fish, this doesnt have to go on. Just thought id spice up the game, you know.
