Fish Food - Blood Worms

Just a quick question - I have never seen blood worms for sale anywhere - where do you get them from. I take it from Tropical fish shops but have never looked out for them so didnt want a wasted journey.

Also so do most people buy them alive or can you buy them frozen?

Have just started feeding my fish prawns which has been a big hit but most places that I have read say blood worms are good for keeping a healthy diet

I always have some frozen. Also my LFS has bags of live bloodworm in fresh every Friday so get a few bags. They keep days in the fridge but my wife's not happy about me putting them in!!

Most LFS keep frozen foods. I've not been to one that doesn't store them as yet.

i buy them frozen and feed them every otherday, if you can feed live; then great!

Just a quick thing; if you dont want a wasted journey why dont you just ring them up and see if they stock and what they stock?
