Fish Eggs

Can anyone Identify these eggs? I have the guy thats in the photo, two suckers, a snail and an angle fish and a silver dollar. Also I forget the type of fish in the photo but im thinking its that one as if i put my hand up to the glass it seems protective.

Parrot fish, looks as though that is moma, but they will probably be sterile eggs.

agreed if the eggs belong to the parrot she will tend them though they will be infertile i think unless fertilised by another fish not another parrot

defo a parrot fish. also the eggs look white already so that mean infertile i am afraid.

is this common of the parrot fish? Ive had fish for many many years never had luck with breeding, although i never tried. Is this common to happen again? there not bad fish maybe i change all my fish over to them, but ive read that people dont like them as they are not found in the wild and human made? human made fish huh...hmmmm next they will say my Shih Tzu is man made lol...

They are a hybrid, meaning that they are the product of 2 different species fish. This would never happen in the wild, hence the "human made" part.

lol. i guess it is fairly common and i have a pair of parrot fish. 1 normal parrot - male ( yellow ) and 1 blood red parrot - female. mine spawn every 4 weeks roughly but nothing comes of it. i just leave them to get on with it. i love my parrot fish. they are the main center piece in my tank apart from my red spotted sev.
