I have 3 mollies and a dwarf gourami in a tank with some ludwigia, anarchis and banana plants.

They leave the bananna plants and ludwigia alone but are stripping the anarchis.

I feed the fish twice a day and have been feeding them a few peas which they seem to love.

I stopped feeding them for a few days due to over-feeding (I'm a newbie) and since then they've been gobbling up the anarchis.

Since I started feeding them, they are still eating the anarchis :-( The gourami in particular doesnt seem to be touching the peas.

Is there anything I can do to keep them from eating the plants ? (I like growing the plants almost as much as watching the fish and hate to see them getting stripped).

Some plants are more prone to be eaten by fish for some reason. Anachris must be really tasty to them  Same goes with cabomba (in my experience, anyway). The only real solution is to swap out the anachris for something else, like say, java fern :) It's a low maintenance plant and hardly no fish will eat them.

Yeah they gobbled up my cabomba too haha.

Are there any other plants along with Java Fern that are easy to grow and not tasty to fish ?

Thanks.
