hi people im paul from wales ive got afull tank of Aulonocara, they seem to be like shimmering ie, shaking then afew days there dead i would like your expert ness on this matter has they are expensive fish many thanks paul

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
How long has the tank been set up.
Did you climatise them properly.

water temp too and has there been any reason a temp fall might happen?

stress is a major factor in shimmying..how long have you had the fish and how many to the tank..size of tank.

what do you get for ammonia and nitrites? nitrates too high? bullying and mating can add to stress levels as can the oset of diseases and infections..any new fish lately?

see anything visibly wrong..like slime coat thickening or spots?

how long have you had the fish? is the diet adequate as well...

size of aquarium? how many of the fish do you have and size..filtration....whats your cleaning regime like? do you add cold water straight from the tap or do you add warm from the kettle or hot tap? conditioners?

is your water hard enough for the type of fish

how long have you had these fish?
