I have had no deaths in months...all the sudden i have had 3 mollies to die in 2 days...no illness no signs of destress before hand...I check my ph level and it is 6.8..and i have read that it says not to mess with the ph levels..well is this why there dying? what can i do to raise the ph without chemicals?

the lps told me to only worries about the ph levels...so thats the only test kit i bought....

You should tell your lps other wise! Ammonia is the first test kit to get, than nitrite being a close second. These two can be more toxic than pH and can suffocate a fish within days. These products come from a build up in fish urine and poo along with anywaste(decaying plants and leftover food). If these waste are left to spoil, your ammonia and nitrite levels rise poisoning your fish. Here's a full article on theNitrogen Cycle to help you understand better.
