Fish Dyeing

Yesterday I got a blueberry and strawberry tetra, I had no idea that they're artifically coloured. Is this cruel for the fish? Does it change their behaviour in any way?

yes it's a very cruel pratice and one that, IMHO, should be outlawed worldwide.
