Hi all,
about 5 months ago i purchased a 60L tank, i followed many pieces of adive form online sites and forums to start up my tank and have tried to do everything by the book, i started off with 4 Glofish, (they were purchased from a pretty regualr store but since purchase i have been able to find information on the particualr ones, they are are see-though, what i belive in other species to be sometimes called x-ray) somebody tole me they were Glowlights not Glofish. My other first inhabitant was a red finned black shark (he is very small - less than 2 inches)
So these fish seems happy after about 2 months so i decided to add some more - 2 gold gouramis, these also were happy for about a month/6 weeks
Ine of the gouramis died about 2 weeks later, i removed the dead fish and checked the water levels, everything was fine, i headed down to my usual store where they told me that i should definatley by anohter else the other gold gourami could get lonely.
O.K so here is the weird part, about 2 weeks after the purchse of the new gourami another one died, excpet this time it literally dissapeared, i dont know exactly when, maybe i didnt notice at one feed or something, but it was with less than a day. Then the second gourami dissapears, this time within 10 hours, so i thought i should check the whole tank, gravel and all, no sign.
Next thing, i come to my tank tonight and one of my original Glolights has gone, once again vanished without a sign!
Can somebody help???
