Hi again guys and girls,

seeing the phenomenal response we've had with Fish Diary v1.0, we've decided to go back to our original idea and lower the price to make it accessible to everyone!
We've made some slight additions and fixes to the program as well, making even easier to add fish to your tanks, among other things :good:

so, for those of you who didn't get your own copy of Fish Diary v1.0, we hope this reduced price will allow you to jump aboard :D

I think it should be in the Buy/Sell section.

To be honest I never really saw the point of this software or the others like it a few years ago, they seem of little use unless you have a large fish house with lots of tanks. People with only a few tanks shouldn't be needing software like this to track everything.

If you do have more than a few tanks this software takes far too long to get to different areas and having to save progress every time you make a change is cumbersome and in most cases unwanted.

Being Windows dependant is another problem. An online version would have been a much better choice, taking out the problems with cross-platform support, updates and if made with security in mind would have effectively removed any chance of the software being distributed illegally and /or cracked.

I’m sorry to be so critical but I can’t see any functionality in FishDiary that couldn’t be achieved for free in openoffice base

thank you for your frankness. you're the first person to be so blunt about it. i'll take your comments into consideration.

I also notified a moderator to move the thread to the appropriate board.
