Hi - I'm new to all of this - I have 190l tank, which has been up and running now for a couple of months....

I have a variety of fish already, but on reading some stuff on this site, I am unsure of their compatibility ..... I'd like to resolve any issues now, rather than later, as I won't be able to get another tank... I had taken all my advice from my local aquatic shop, but appears a couple of my purchases may not have been quite right !!!

In order in which they were added - I have 5 Zebra Danios (did have 6, lost one last week), 6 Tiger Barbs (obviously now have a limit on what I can have !!), 6 Cherry Barbs, 2 Albino Sharks (it is these I am most worried about), and finally, 12 at the last count Neon (I think, could be cardinal) Tetra's. Had 10 of these, they were doing great for a couple of weeks, added another 10, and then lost 8 in the space of a few days...

Any advice, views, thoughts would be most appreciated - also on what else I could get

kind regards
Tracey

The 2 albino sharks will probably fight when they mature. In a big tank with lots of hiding places they should be fine but you will have to watch them and see if one starts picking on the other. If it does then one will need to be moved to another tank.
Cardinal tetras have the red line running the full length of their body. Neons have the red line running half way along their body.
The new neons probably had a bacterial infection that killed them. New fish should be quarantined for a couple of weeks before they are introduced into the display tank.
The rest of the fish should get along fine.
Most small barbs and tetras should be fine with those tank mates. Avoid fish with long flowing fins like angels, guppies and male fighters as these will probably get chewed up by the barbs.
