Ok as you can see from my sig that is the fish i currently stock in my 4ft tank.

Would any of these be compatible if not then please state why.

Silver scats, red platy, puffer fish, red wagtail platy, silver molly, guppys(not small)

Silver scats require brackish and it's recommended for mollies too. Puffers are generally incompatible full stop! (assuming you mean dwarf?)
Platies and guppies should be OK.

Good advice.

In the end a lot of it depends on the individual personalities of your fish.
Personally, I'm amazed you have peace between 3 x angels and 2 x dwarf gourami ! maybe you don't !

There all excellent together, never once seen a nip. Marble sometimes chases the platinums when they get too close for comfort But dont pursue them where he actually nips.

Good luck to you J4G3D !

Sometimes fish mixes which look bad on paper actually work well in the real world, with individual fish's temperaments put into the equation.

As an example, I have a male Betta who lives most amicably with a very large male angelfish. On paper its a recipe for trouble , but for me it works !

My only definate advice would be not to mix dwarf puffers with virtually anything else as, once settled, they will rip other fish to pieces. They have a very mean beak, when they choose to use it !
Also don't add Scats to your tank, as they have different (brackish) water requirements.

i would up the numbers of cardinal tetras as 1 must look very odd and the poor fish must be fed up of being o loner......

get another 6-7 for a nice group, nothing beats a good group of cardinals in my eyes

Funny you should say that but the existing tetra (the 1 alive now) It came with the big marble i have, i bought them together. So i went out and bought 5 more big sized ones. The marble ate them 1 by 1. Leaving the exisiting tetra. Weird huh how he left the original one? even though they were all the same size. Im going to offload the marble to get more cardinal tetra as nothing beats them shoaling together.

if you have a spare tank or a quarentine tank that your not using then try growing the cardinals up before adding them as fully grown ones shouldnt get eaten :good: i currently have 16 growing out in a spare tank before i can let them loose in tha discus tank for the same reasons..... 3 or 4 water chamges a week and twice feeding with a varied diet a day and they are growing nicely :good:
