Fish compatability chart

To save lots of questions here is a chart i found on a nice site.

But like all cases some combinations can differ from what is recorded here for instance angels and neons are marked Y but lets not get into that again.

Very good indeed ! And yes, of course there are exceptions but it's a good basic guidance. It's actually quite good to see the chart on the the original website as it's a tad easier to read the compatibility with the "guide lines" they provide.

This is a good page, but I wish they would give a little more detail on "caution required". Thats a pretty vauge description.

Sinistral, some things aren't always that easy to search for and I think as a new member, Whitey wouldn't have been aware of those previous posts. Neither was I in fact, so in this case I do not think its a waste of time to re-post.

I agree bloozoo2. Since I remembered the posts, I wanted to introduce the discussion that had taken place previously... there were some points about that particular chart that bore looking at. I never suggested it was a waste of time. Perhaps I should have been more clear about my intentions in my original post~

It's a pretty good chart for beginners who really have no clue what they're doing, but I'm not very trusting of any compatability chart.

I think that if people go by that chart instead of getting good ADVICE, they will continue to not have a clue, just IMO

The general rule of not believing everything you read is also applicable to items on the internet, but the chart can act as a starting point to carry out a bit more research..... and research.........and research!! I saw this same chart when I started and knew zilch, but it was used as a starting point to investigate further.
