I currently have an Senegal Bichir and a pleco both about 6" long. The tank is 90 Gs I was wondering if maybe i could add an Oscar , Green Texas Cichlid (or Green Terror) , Red Devil in there.

You guys think the cichlids would kill the Bichir?

Would the 3 Cichlid combination work without the Bichir?

Wouldn't go for the red devil, might be too aggressive for the polypterus, the same for the texas (depending on personality but I still wouldn't risk it). Your best bet will be the oscar. I had oscars (and an planning to again) with ornate polypterus, worked fine.

I dont think the 3 cichlids: oscar, red devil and texas will work, it will most likely end up in the red devil attacking the others in that tank size. A male RD will especially try and claim the whole tank as his own.

A 90 gallon with 1 oscar, 1 JD, 1 senegal polypterus and 1 plec. Sounds reasonable
