as long as the fish doesn't become lethargic and stops eating, i'm guessing he's ok

a sick fish will usually go hide to not be bothered...

That fish looks a bit stressed out by the fact he couldnt turn left. He obviously was trying and jerking him self around to make it left but just couldnt do it. Well anyways if his condition worsens please end his life and spare him from the pain.

Looks like hes had a stroke of some kind, and to me looks like hes in pain.

This is probably the most likely explanation, we had a silver shark at work that was very skittish and bashed into the glass, it just span around in circles for a week or 2 then righted itself and was fine, just alot less skittish! Very weird although i guess it got mild brain damage or bruising.
