Do your research first before breeding. Ask your LFS if they will buy any fish from you, many I found will not pay you for fish, they will take them for free or some will swap fish for dry or frozen food. You need more than one shop to take fish. Cichlids can produce a lot of fry, many shops do not have the room to take 100 fish of the same species - and in the case of the EBJD, these are high priced fish, most shops would only have very few on display for sale.
I do not wish to put you off, breeding fish is really nice, but you can end up with lots of fish you just cannot get rid of, you cannot rely on selling them to a LFS. You will also have to look into advertising them elsewhere and possibly also set up to send fish by courier - this gets expensive.
