Hello all,

We have Pear Gouramis, Cardinals and Dutch Rams as well as a couple of Bistlenose catfish.

One of our Pearls started getting a kind of fungus on it's body and we were recommended Interpet Anti-Fungus & Finrot. The reason for the fin rot was for the female bn catfish, she started loosing the end parts of her beautiful fins

Anyway, the finrot seems to have stopped now and the fungus on the Pearl has gone down a great deal. The only thing that is worrying us is that we are on the second week of the treatment and all the fish apart from the Pearls and the BNs are breathing very hevily.

The composition of the water is just fine we have had that checked, we're thinking that it might be a case of getting a more powerful air pump.

Has anyone got any ideas please.

Thank you

Martin & Nina

You need to increase aeration when using meds as it reduces 02 in the water.
