One of our female guppies has a lot of wat looks like blood around its rear body, she was pregnant looking untill this but now lost a alot of weight, hidws in the dark corner with fins clamped and rarly comes out.
stats are fine and same as previous topic http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/308143-internal-prasites/page__p__2561503&#entry2561503
our other female guppy started hiding and was found dead thismorning and a young female has been hiding on off since treatment of the worm medication
anyone any ideas as to whats caused this? if its treatable? i have a few pics and will upload them later tonight
cheers

If you only half dosed the med might not of worked. You must follow the med instructions.
When does it state to retreat again.

Is the blood beneath the skin or on top. It could be septicemia.

Yeh i know it wasn't the full dose but it said it could harm the cat fish and i've no way of isolating them whilst i treat the main tank. Its due an other treatment this weekend.Heres a pic below if its any help

I would issolate and use a bacterial med. Like anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
She might not make it bless her.

You will have to buy an issolation tank for the catfish, so you can use full dose. Use half dose in isolation for the catfish.
If not able to issolate you will have to risk using the full dose.

Unfortunatly she was found dead thismorning before we could do anything about her. the water stats were still fine so giving the full follow up treatment for the paracites. so fingers crossed this will be the end of it all

Bless her. R.I.P.
Let the board know how you get on if you don't mind.
Good Luck.
