Fish Attacking Owner

Anyone here ever have there fish attack them during gravel vac or whatever?

Was cleaning the tank today and my male green terror kept going for my hand (It might of been that they was setting a breeding ground?),
it never managed to catch me though.

Funny thing is though, when my mum stuck her hand into the tank it never once bothered her...
And he'll only really go for me through the glass when i walk past the tank, nobody else.. Maybe he doesnt like me? haha.

I'm gonna sound like a wimp here but do you think it'd hurt if he did manage to give me a little nip? lol.
He's not too big yet so i doubt it, just them first time shocks i guess lol.

I am no fish expert but if he was to attack your hand surely it wouldn't hurt as fish don't have many teeth if any.

My Mbuna often used to peck at my hand/arm when I did maintenance.

I know my caudopunctatus are smaller than your terror but they are feisty little things who think nothing of having a go at my hand when I`m cleaning my tank
At first I would pull my hand away as I didn`t know whether them having a go would hurt (yeah I know I`m a wuss lol) but I let them have a go and it feels more like they`re pulling the hairs out of my hand. I just let them get on with it now, once they realise my hand is there until I`ve finished they tend to back off a bit

My Son laughed at me at first so I told him to put his hand in......here`s how my punks reacted:

I had my Parrot fish attack my hand when vacuum my sand. He only done this the one time I guess my parrots were breeding at that time

my honey gouramis think nothing of giving my arm a peck its quite funny tbh as they are so small and fearless lol

i wouldnt want a big cilchid having ago though tbh lol

Hahaaa . My old tiger barbs used to nip at me a little bit & that didnt hurt,
it's just the fact the terror is bigger that scares me lol.

My mbuna attack me all the time - Mainly the sparengae.

It doesnt "hurt" but its enough to give you a shock and pull yer arm out if you arent expecting it!

You should of seen it a few month ago, i thought it was gonna pop .
I'd say he's about 5" mark, roughly. Think i've had him for about 2 year, i'm not very good at keeping track of time mind lol.

lol my mollies always come up and hover around me arm or hand giving me (kisses) as i call them as it dont hurt just make me laugh as it tickles alittle

now my barbs have joined in the fun
