I have 2 Lemon Cichlids in my Tank.. Unfotunately i dont think they should be in there with other community fish as they chase them around the tank The fish i have are detailed in my siggy below....

If anybody lives in the Hastings East Sussex UK area and wants them for free please pm or email me.. They are playful and colourful fish but should be with other cichlids..

:good:

All of those different fish in one tank?

talk about water parameter difference

my water stats are fine thank you very much... but any suggestions are always appreciated

By water parameters Mamafish means the different water needs of the fish, not the nitrogen process. You have fish from ultra soft waters mixed with fish from rock hard water lakes - incompatable before considering their temperaments.

And for example you're Lemon's like PH around 8.0-8.2 and your Guppies(please correct me if I'm wrong) like it around 7.5

not everyone needs to be kept in their natural type water you know, there are notable exceptions (rift lake cichlids are one) but if the fish have been bred in captivity, they will be far more flexible when it comes to water conditions, pH, hardness etc.

fcuk : i'd take out all of the rift cichlids (the ones in bold type) you have in your tank and rehome them, along with the clown loaches and the plecs which will grow too large for your current tank, and one of the red tailed sharks which are very territorial.

Rio 125 tank

1 Zebra Molly
3 Black Mollies
2 Lemon Cichlids

2 Plecos

2 Guppys
3 Platys
1 Marliers Julie
4 Leopard Danios

Not all clowns get to 12", there are 2 distinct kinds of them, one which does indeed get to 12", the other more commonly found one gets to about 6".
