FISH ARE THE MOST BORING PETS YOU CAN HAVE. THEY HAVE NO PERSONALITY AND THEY DON'T SHOW ANY EMOTION EXCEPT BEING DEAD. THEY DON'T WAG THEIR TAILS, LICK YOUR FACE, CUDDLE WITH YOU WHEN YOUR SAD, MAKE YOU LAUGH WHEN YOU NEED TO, AND THEY AREN'T WARM WHEN YOU LIE NEXT TO THEM. THEY SWIM AROUND A GLASS CONTAINER ALL DAY EATING, CRAPPING, AND DIEING. THEY'RE NO FUN TO TAKE CARE OF, YOU CAN'T TAKE THEM FOR A WALK OR TO THE PARK, YOU CAN'T PET THEM OR HOLD THEM, AND HONESTLY, WHO'S GOING TO SPEND $20 TO SAVE A FISH THAT COSTED $2.50? THEY CAN'T DO TRICKS OR RUN AND PLAY, AND THEY STAY IN THE SAME BORING ROUTINE EVERY DAY. YES, A PET FISH IS THE MOST BORING THING YOU COULD GET, YOUR BETTER OFF GETTING A McFISH SANDWICH.

Do you own fish? If you don't like them, then I suggest that you give them to someone who cares about them.

They may not be very worthwhile to you, but to some of us, they are. I agree with what you said, for the most part, but some people here wouldn't. Perhaps you should get a pet that doesn't swim in a tank?

Or you could try doing something different? Breeding them is a nice way to get them to do something new. Maybe if you provided better accomodations (provided you have had any) and had an array of them, then you'd see what we like about them.

And might I add, bashing fish in a fish forum is not the way to go.

I respect what he says, if he did have a bad experience, I might be reacting the same way (just not telling you guyz ). I guess the main reason one would chose fish is for a mystical pet, not a cuddley one, and that decision should be made at the start. Luckily, I have a dog and budgies too, just incase my mood changes.

Still.... it's rather foolish thinking that the fish are going to do tricks or start acting in a bizarre or entertaining manner. They're not very fun animals, but you can only enjoy them if you know what to look for and have the patience to sit around and just look at them.

Many people say fishing is boring and they do the same thing taht's being done here. I'm one of these people and would therefore never go on a fishing trip.

It's best not to have illusions and that when they are dispelled, you've got to make the best of reality. If you don't like what you see, don't gripe, change it.
