ph 7.6

and my glowlights are not shoaling anymore and seen to be chasing each other and one is hiding under the filter, The tank is matured and has been running for about 3 and a half months had no problems apart from my swordtail male bulying the females he is now removed, Tanks is modertly to high planted and they are in a 120l tank and the filters are eheim aquaball 2212 and a fluval 3 plus. I do regulare tests, water changes, gravel cleaning and filter maintance i done a big water change on thursday so what could the problem be, I was thinking ich but there are no visible signs of ich

Maybe whitespot? something irritating in the water can cause flicking, wait until someone more experienced comes along ;)

Have you tried darkening the room and tank, followed by using a torch to look for tiny golden spots i.e. "Velvet", on the flanks of your fish?

no its defintly not itch i havent noticed any of the fish flicking for a while and a few of the guppies fins were clamped i just turned the temp up to 30 and turned the lights off, i have the api freshwater test kit done a test today and reading

Ammonia-0ppm
PH-8
Nitrate-0ppm
nitrite-0ppm

my ph is very high and i tested my tap water and its the same i also have bogwood in the tank but its not doing anything abouit lowering the ph but the fish seem fine and adjusted to it now, been running for about 4 months now

it's very unusual to get a nitrate reading of 0ppm. Most peoples tap water contains nitrate to some extent. I know the nitrate test is the most 'fiddly' out of the API set, have you double chekced that you are shaking the bottles correctly and combining them as per the instructions?
