I'd go with a betta. Not a regular veiltail though, something gnarly like a metallic silver crown-tail

I personally think the only fish to fit a 2 gallon is a betta. I've heard of mixed stories when mixing bettas with shrimp.

actually i agree with the fancy guppy :) the only reason im not getting the betta because and yes i am also getting mixed stories about bettas and shrimps :) im actually thinking of ordering one from a betta importer friend of mine :) he will sell me a really nice betta for around 17 dollars a fish or a really really nice competition grade betta for 30 dollars a betta (kelson bettas? i dont know if youve heard of him... i think he is famous ? im not really into bettas...:p ):) but they are soooo pretty !!! :)

but he himself told me that the shrimps are not safe with bettas ! :) especially in a small 2 gal :p

im gonna research more ! but for the meantime a fancy guppy will be my best bet

AKKK!!! why is it so hard to put fishes in a small tank : (

Ooooh sweet little tank that has pigmy puffer (Carinotetraodon travancoricus)written all over it. Mind i dont think the shrimp will last too long.

It's far too small for a puffer.

Dwarf puffers (Carinotetraodon travancoricus) require a MINMUM of 5 US gallons and would make short work of the shrimp sooner rather than later.

kilifish! :p hmm really pretty, looks like a distant relative of a beta.. (well it is because they both are fishes) ....thanks for the info ! ive taken that into account, im going to go LFS hopping this weekend, lets see what fish i can find :) the best bet would be the guppy though ... easiest to find :)

*edit*
just got an email that a local imported managed to get in rocket kilifishes !!Pseudepiplatys annulatus... and its sold out ! :( o well

*edit2*
just read that killifishes are excellent jumpers ! :( o well.. looks like the guppy gets another vote :p

via the small bottle in the left side, i havent measured if it is diffusing the c02 well though..... i am assuming it is because the plants are pearling :D
