when i first brought home my three new guppies fergie, alice, and winowna they swam happily around in the tank but as i was engaged in watching them explore i noticed a few white specks on their bodies i wondered if it was ich but then figured they were fine because of their cheery moods. as time passed the spots began to grow in size slightly and spread to more areas. at this point i was worried so today i picked up some rid ich plus and read the instructions VERY carefully. after cleaning the tank and washing the rocks then transferring the fish from their temporary home i put in the dosage and amazed i watched the instantaneous effect: the fish that had been affected with ich were covered in bubbles in all the places they had ich! they didnt seem to notice or be bothered by it and went on their way, but i cant help wondering were the bubbles simply the medicine at work or was it a side effect??? i read the bottle afterward and it said that stingrays and elephant noses may be sensitive to the medication but said nothing about guppies please give me some help as soon as possible!
