No idea about Dairy cattle but would of though they had an easy life apart from the male's

I agree with you but a lot of the times the guidelines are just not followed

Dairy factory cows are artificially inseminated at an early age then the calf is taken away after 1 or 2 days so they can produce milk for almost a year.
They are pumped full antibiotics, and fed unnatural high-protein so they can produce more milk.

They are always in pain and have udder infections

anyway were way off the topic now of the original posting LOL

But I believe that if in the UK if cattle are on antibiotics their taken off, so no milk ends up for the human consumption market, it's just wasted.

I watched this last night and it was one of the best prgrammes I've watched in ages and not for the fish particulalry just an interestin documentary
