First Spawning?

Looks like we could possible have our 1st spawning here. When we got up this morning my son said "look mommy the fish is red." We then noticed 1 Jewel looking BRIGHT fire engine red and the other was pinkish on his fins. Well at least we know we both sexes of those.

the way you can sex jewels, besides venting, is to look at the blue dots on the tail. in the males, the dots will form a half circle and in the females, they are randomly placed.
