I brought him home from Petsmart on Tuesday :D. I noticed him a week and a half ago, when he wasn't looking so good. I waited to see if someone would take him, but every time I went back he was still there. So, in the end I brought him home :D.

He's perked up a lot since Tuesday and I gave him some bloodworms today, but it took him a few hours before he figured out they were food. He's also started to flare at me, but he hasn't made a bubblenest yet.

It's a little hard to tell from the picture but his body is a darkish blue. And on his bottom fin some of the rays curl at the ends :hyper:. I might put him up for adoption in a few weeks when he is fully recovered :fish: .

With your right care he will turn into a fine young man.

This was the same for me when i bought my CT, i first noticed my LFS a batch of CTs but all of them had sold on their tanks, i went back 4 months later and one was still there in a dirty alge over grown small tank, i asked and they let me have him!!!

This pic was when i fist got him. I have been feeding on Hikari Betta Pellets and it has worked wonders with his finage. Both of my males love this food.
