Very nice, and lovely tint from that bogwood. What are you thinking of putting in it? and what size is it?

Cool pics! Love those little tufty plants at the front.

Its a Juwel 180 Rio - approx 40 UK gallons. Still thinking about the fish (ad nauseum!! ) but I think it will have a clown plec, 4 bronze corys and a school of harlequin rasboras. (This may change - again) :p

looks awsome

great start for a newbie

Just beautiful, very element, sand, wood, plants  I admire you all who keep planted tanks, but from looking at them it's seems worth the work :) Keep us updated when you add your fish, clown plecs are schoolong so try to get a few of them, they will love that wood

Thx for all the positive comments folks :) - this is my first "proper" biggish tank. I've got 2 very small tanks, one for a betta and one which was my first tank
just back in October 04, so I'm definitely a newbie - but have become an obsessed newbie :*)

After all the usual newbie mistakes I have researched a LOT . Anyway I have plunged in at the deep end, cos I really want a planted natural looking tank, so fingers crossed it all goes fine. Its cost a fortune :S - but its worth it!
