Some of you may remember about a month ago I got my first guppies from Rick Grigsby. I bought 4 trios and I found fry in three of the tanks today :hyper: :kana:

I'm so dense, I didn't even know anyone was pregnant, and I can't tell who had them :*) Since I wasn't expecting this, I wasn't prepared so I ran out to Wal-Mart and there were quite a few missing when I returned, but I got the ones I could find outta there

I have them all seperated, I have Purples, Purple Bi-colors, and Half-Black purples :flex:

congratulations!!!!!

i was wondering when we would hear more about your guppies!! let us know how raising these babies compares to your bettas...

Well, already it's insanely different. I really haven't done anything  I toss some food in and do a weekly water change. These babies are already eating on flakes too  I am getting my brine hatchery up for them though, so they'll have something meaty tomorrow

I tell ya though, night and day

The purple's and the purple bi's are a lot more purple then this male, he's more navy IMHO :p

Well I learned that is is unethical ( :dunno: ) to sell your F1's so I think I'll probably keep most of these. Just grow them out untill they are no longer bite size  Then throw them back in with their parents. F2's I'll try to aquabid because they are show quality :) I also have a pet store in Colorado that will buy whatever I bring in :flex:

Lovely guppy I have one the same.

They are growing and eating well. I fed them some live daphnia tonight and they are going crazy being little hunters

congrats on the fry sorrell

good luck raising them
