First Fish

hi all.
ive had my small tank(60l) going for 3 weeks i have 4 silver tip teras which i was assured were good community fish. i now find they chase each other all the time and the smallest now seems to hide all the time and not mix with the others,i fear he has given in to the bullies and i worry he(or she) may be unhappy,has anyone any suggestions as to how i can help them to get along.

They are in fact good community fish....get yourself 3 more to devide their attentions and they will start schooling at times.

I have 6 siver Tip tetras, , they are great fish, very active, I agree with the prevoius post , get some more, or even bigger tetras such as Serpae's or red eyes once you do keep an eye on them before lights out, they will usually come together.In the morning (if you get up early enough to catch them sleeping) they will be resting near on another,

thanks for info...but i forgot to mention i also have 2 honey gouramies.. so if i get 3 more will this bring my stock level to the max for a 60x30x30 tank??

I have twelve Silver Tip Tetras and they all chase each other too. There are enough though that all of them are chased at one time or another, its just what they do. The more there are the less chance that one will be singled out and bullied. They school a lot as well especially when I am doing things such as water changing. At feeding time however it becomes every Silver Tip for himself
