First Ever Macros

Picture little blurry
yeah its a digital slr, one of the very first to come out its like 7 years old and manual focus + i wear glasses so everythings conspiring against me

any tips on getting a clearer shot?

Not a bad pic at all :good: , the white balance may be off a bit the colours look a bit washed out. What type of shrimp are they, they look like wild cherries (the smaller ones) a bit like tigers too,

I'd say ghost shrimp too...but their color doesnt look right, supposedly ghosties have pigment in their eyes and the flecks on their tails only. Whatever they are, they are very cute! :good:

I think they look like a Neocaridina species like the cherry shrimp but a natural/wild form. I used to have some that look very similar.

Not my favorite pic ever, but for your first macro very well done! I like how the shrimp and moss are very visible and in focus. Nice :good:
